Why Festival Dance Academy?

Festival Dance Academy has been providing quality dance instruction in a warm, supportive environment since 1972.  We believe that every student matters, and are dedicated to helping each reach their full potential.

Offering supportive, classical instruction by faculty and dance majors from the University of Idaho, Festival Dance Academy extends a diverse range of courses including special classes for beginners, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, contemporary, and pilates, for youth and adults to the community.  We have a wide variety of opportunities to perform for students and families in the community at events such as the Moscow Farmers Market,  our annual Holiday Showcase, "The Nutcracker", Spring Recital, and many more.

Festival Dance Academy is in residence at the University of Idaho, and classes are taught in one of the beautiful UI dance studios.
Please visit our faculty page to read more about our amazing team, we look forward to dancing with you soon!

Motion Fever Performance Troupe

MOTION FEVER PERFORMANCE TROUPE, previously known as The Sparklers, is a dance team dedicated to enriching the performance experience of its team members. It is a wonderful opportunity for dancers to further develop their technique in a supportive team atmosphere.

The Performance Troupe learns various pieces of choreography throughout the year, and performs at community events such as the Farmers Market, Moscow’s Downtown Trick or Treat Event, Champagne Benefit, Light Up the Night, Vandal half-time performances, and other seasonal events.  Being part of a performance dance team has many personal benefits, some of which include:
